Last week at the Byron Neslon just felt like the perfect warm up for Scottie. He could sleep in his own bed and finished a cool T5. You might be surprised to see him play the week before a major, but he last played a month ago at the RBC Heritage as he decided to skip the Wells Fargo designated event, so fatigue will not be a factor for Scottie.
I don’t think I have to go into too many details on stats for Scottie, at this point everyone knows him and what he has done. What’s most remarkable about Scheffler is his level of consistency. Over his last 13 starts, his worst finish is a T12 with seven Top-5 finishes including two wins.
Scheffler ranks:
1st SG Off the Tee
1st SG Tee to Green
1st Greens in Regulation
2nd Total SG
2nd Scoring Average
And my two favorite stats for this week
1st in Bogey Avoidance and
1st in Par 4 Scoring
