Jailton Almeida vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik:
This is a spot there's a clear vulnerability on Rozenstruik's side lining up perfectly with the absolute strength of Almedia… grappling. Jailton has high level BJJ and will seek path of least resistance diving at legs from opening bell. We've seen how strong he is in last fight picking Shamil Abdurakhimov, who's 40 pounds heavier, over Jailton's head slamming him in round 1. Add in the fact that Rozenstruik's striking output is very low allowing lapses in action for Almeida to level change. Best way to keep a grapple heavy attack off you is pushing forward keeping opponent on back foot. Much harder to shoot for takedowns moving backwards. Now that's easier said then done due to the fact Jailton is an animal. Once he latches on you're probably going for a ride to the mat. It may only take one takedown for Jailton to methodically work to dominating position submission hunting… and that's the thing… he will 100% seek the finish. Currently he's on a 13 fight win streak in which all 13 wins came by finish. With it being a 5 round fight Almeida will have time to end it. If you're looking for more value, Jailton has won via submission 12 times out of his 18 MMA victories as that prop is hanging around +100 to -110.
Carlos Ulberg vs Ihor Potieria:
There's not doubt Carlos Ulberg is a savage on the feet which could be credited towards his training partner is Israel Adesanya. Lots of hype coming into the UFC after winning on Dana White's Contender Series. In his UFC debut he faced a tough stylistic match up for anyone in Kennedy Nzechukwu due it his size and reach. Carlos came out guns blazing then gassed out and Kennedy found the finish in round 2. Since then he's truly took a more relaxed approach game planning to his strengths and not blowing his load in round 1. Since the loss, now on a 3-0 run with 2 wins coming in round 1. Guy has the goods on the feet with high level striking and very explosive kicking arsenal. While I couldn't be much lower on the overall skill set of Ihor Potieria. Honestly, he's pretty horrible. Wild sloppy striking with a willingness to stand in pocket and trade which could be a dangerous proposition against a high level kickboxer in Ulberg. Think ITD is live here too but laying 4% I'm comfortable playing parlay safe here.
