There isn't an Association group playing more efficiently on offense since the All-Star break than the Sixers. They have navigated the back-to-backs they have faced down the home stretch of the regular slate and with a lead, Philly has been ferocious on defense. 

Just when you believe that things have changed they often remain the same. Most Association franchises have a team that is a pain in the backside of the gym shorts season-in and season-out. The team isn't always the same year after year but this season the Pacers have created different looks and been creative in keeping the Sixers' dynamic offensive personnel in check. 

What has been this season is not what was tonight. The Pacers are without Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and Chris Duarte and when the Pacers talk they do so with the point of the offense dressed, active, and in the first five. As Haliburton goes so go the Pacers. 

Indy loses more than six points of their net rating when Haliburton is not a part of the action on game day or game night, and as I stated in the opening of this game breakdown the Sixers have managed the schedules back-to-backs as well as any team in the league since the AS break.

Yes, positioned against the likes of a less-than squad in the second leg of back-to-backs presents the opportunity for a team that is locked into a position in the postseason standings that is not the temperament or the situation for this Philly group and Doc Rivers has been fatally focused, fatal to the opposing team and staff. 

Note that James Harden, Joel Embiid, and the fuel that juices the Sixers' engine, Tyrese Maxey, all played fewer than 31 minutes in the win over Charlotte last night. 

JMcDan is the only Sixer contributor that I expect to be inactive for tonight's Saturday night matchup in Indianapolis tonight.
