This is a good "styles make fights" matchup as the Bears should be able to enjoy some offensive success around the perimeter while Santa Barbara is ruthlessly efficient on the inside. For whatever reason, Scott Drew wasn't able to attract a lot of interior talent to Waco this season, and he's hard to rely on the perimeter play of freshman sensation Keyonte George and senior leader Adam Flagler. Baylor is No. 2 in the country in offensive efficiency while shooting over 37-percent from three-point range. Iowa State owns the blueprint for stopping the Bears, as the Cyclones swept all three games against Baylor this season. We're not sure UCSB can follow Iowa State's lead on the defensive end, but they can certainly do it on the offensive side. Baylor's defense is No. 314 in the country in two-point shooting allowed (53.3-percent, over three percent above the national average). The Gauchos will bring plenty of size into this matchup with former Cal transfer Andre Kelly and 6-10 senior Miles Norris. UCSB was top-30 in the country in effective field goal shooting and two-point shooting percentage. Neither team plays at a fast pace, but the opportunities to score will certainly be there.
