Upsets in the NCAA Tournament are often built on teams playing with a unique style, whether they shoot a high volume of three-pointers or they run a high-tempo offense or they run a full-court press on defense. They do something out of the norm to catch the opponent by surprise. Montana State is a good basketball team, but Kansas State saw 20+ good basketball teams through out the course of the season. The Bobcats play at a slow pace, so they're not going to catch Kansas State by surprise there. They are No. 294 in three-point volume, so they're not going to light it up from deep. In Montana State's two attempts against upper-tier opponents this season, the Bobcats lost by 30 at Oregon and 21 at Arizona. Power forward Jubrile Belo is a very skilled player for the Bobcats, but getting him in positive matchups in the Big Sky is a lot easier than facing a top-20 defense. This number should be double-digits in our opinion. Lay the points with Kansas State.
