I’m going to keep this write-up short and sweet. This is a pick ‘em type game, not a team where either squad has any legitimate ‘on-court’ edge. But one angle that I’ve found that works over the years is to back the disrespected team in these type of contests – they tend to play with an extra edge. The Nevada Wolfpack did not close out the regular season well. They’ve been dissed and disrespected by every pundit in the country over the past few days; the proverbial ‘last team in’ who stole the bid from other, more deserving schools. I’ve ridden teams like Nevada all the way to the Sweet 16 in recent tourney’s and I’m very comfortable fading Bobby Hurley and his woeful 4-13 ATS mark as favorites of -14.5 or lower this season.
