(5%) INDIANA … I respect the Golden Flashes. They're tough, they've got decent depth and they play good defense. They've also got a quality coach with connections to both Indiana and Albany, the site of this game. That said, some times teams need to walk before they can run. Having been embarrassed at last year's MAC Tourney Title game, the Golden Flashes biggest goal was just to get here. Mission accomplished. Of course, they want to go further but the season has already been a success. Not so for the Hoosiers. They were knocked out of the first round of the NCAA Tournament last year and anything less than a victory here will be a major failure. They'll lean on last yea's experience and it'll serve them well. While the MAC was competitive and had some solid teams, it's nowhere near that the Big Ten is. True, the Golden Flashes played both Houston and Gonzaga tough. They still lost both those games by more than four points though. Indiana, on the other hand, has big wins against the likes of Purdue and North Carolina. The well-coached Hoosiers are 10-3 SU And 8-4-1 ATS when playing with three or more day's rest in between games. They're also 13-7 ATS (19-1 SU) their last 20 against teams from the MAC. I expect them to improve on those stats Friday night. (Good at -5 or better)
