This will essentially be a home game for Nevada as the fans make the trip down from Reno in hopes of the Wolf Pack making a run at the Mountain West title. Home court edge aside, this line is too short for a Wolf Pack team that received an advantageous first game. Nevada swept the season series with the Spartans, winning by 27 at San Jose and then by 15 at home. The Wolf Pack defense was on full display in both, holding SJSU to just 40 points in the first meeting and 51 in the second. It’s also worth mentioning that despite what you’ll hear from recreational bettors, it’s not hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. The Spartans had a great year for their standards, but get them away from home and this is a completely different team. The Wolf Pack are a phenomenal 15-3 ATS in their last 18 neutral site games and the favorite is 4-1 vs the number in the last 5 meetings. Take Nevada.
