Recent Play Details

I saw Arkansas play in person last week and cashed with Mizzou in a game where the Tigers came from behind to win.  It really was a lackluster performance on both sides and the fact Arkansas wilted away to blow a game in that spot tells me all I really need to know about this Arkansas team right now.

I gave Arkansas -9.5 as a lean on the WagerTalk Last Call show on Saturday morning because I liked the spot for Arkansas and that did get there with Arkansas winning 69-57.  I have Ole Miss and LSU rated similarly so I have to disagree with THAT result making Arkansas favored by three more points HERE.

LSU's only SEC win came against Arkansas back in late December, the Tigers have lost every game since but I don't think either team is all that different since then so I don't see how flipping the venue changes this result by more than 15 points.  

Arkansas controlled the game with Ole Miss over the weekend and still struggled to pull away as Ole Miss had it down to 10 with less than a minute to play and missed a 3 that would have put the Rebels in position to cover. 

LSU comes off a few blowout losses but those were against Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee.  Arkansas is still being treated as an SEC elite but the Razorbacks aren't there yet and I'm happy to oppose them at this massive number here.
