Both these teams struggle on the road. Washington is 8-16 on the road, Dallas is 8-15. So, it's not surprising that the Mavs lost when they played at Washington. They're a much better 17-8 at home though. With tonight's rematch being played at Dallas, I expect the revenge-minded Mavs to have the advantage. Just when it seemed like the Wizards were getting healthy, they trade away Hachimura, the player who led them in scoring (30 points) in their most recent game. Note that Hachimura had 23 points and a game-leading +20 +/- mark in the first game against the Mavs. Worse, the Wizards have also just lost Porzingis to injury. Those personnel losses will be felt this evening. Off a blowout loss to the Clippers, note that the Mavs are 4-1 ATS the past five times that they were off a double-digit home loss. They're also 32-14 SU/ATS the past 2+ seasons, after failing to score 100 points in their previous game. With the Wizards just 9-19 ATS the past 28 times that they played with 2-days rest in between games, expect Dallas to bounce back with a convincing win and cover.
