It might seem strange to see a struggling team with such a high price tag. The Canucks are favored by this much for good reason though. A look at their recent games shows that they've been in a brutal scheduling stretch which has seen them taking on many of the top teams in the league. Their recent games came against the likes of Edmonton, Colorado (twice), Tampa, (twice) Carolina, Florida, Pittsburgh and Winnipeg. Those are some tough teams. To their credit, the Canucks did manage to split with Colorado and to beat Carolina. The Hawks represent a considerable step down in class. The Canucks have beaten Chicago four of the past five meetings including two of three this season. Expect the recent firing of Boudreau to provide a spark and for the Canucks to continue their success in the series.
