Italy Serie A
(201353) Empoli FC at (201354) Inter Milan
I think this total is set a little too high. Yes, Inter is the better side and should control the possession and chances in this game, but that could work in our favor, especially if they grab a lead and don't need to push late in the game. If this game is tied or they somehow trail, we will probably be in trouble, but if you believe Inter should win this match this is a good angle to play.
For as good as Inter is, they have gone Over 6.5 Corners at home just one time in nine matches and only three times in 18 matches this season. Empoli does allow quite a few Corners, an average of 6.5 which ranks dead last in the league, with eight of their 18 matches seeing their opponent finish with more than 6.5 Corners. But most of those came at home where Empoli push for the win. On the road, and especially in a game they will setup defensively for, they can pack it in and allow Inter meaningless possession, but not too many attacks in the final third. Only two of their nine away matches have they allowed Over 6.5 Corners including holding both Napoli and Juventus Under the total.
TAKE INTER MILAN TEAM TOTAL UNDER 6.5 CORNERS
Line Parameter: 3% to -110, 2% to -120
