Buffalo Bills Total Sacks OVER 2.5 -110:
Joe Burrow has been the most sacked quarterback in the NFL since 2021 with 92 sacks, he was sacked a league high 51 times last season. The Cincinnati Bengals revamped their offensive line in the offseason but still allowed the 6th most sacks when the dust cleared. The Bengals line struggled to gel early in the season and allowed 3+ sacks in 5 of their first 8 games. Then they hit an 8 game sweet spot where they allowed no more than 2 sacks to finish the regular season. However, injuries started to plague them in Week 16 with veteran right tackle La'el Collins tearing his ACL. Next was right guard Alex Cappa who suffered an ankle injury in Week 18 and finally left tackle Jonah Williams who left last weekend's playoff game with a dislocated knee. Williams played 100% of the snaps in all but one regular season game game while Cappa played 100% of the snaps in all but two regular season games. With 3/5's of their starting offensive line on the shelf, Burrow was sacked 4 times against the same Baltimore Ravens team that only sacked him twice in each regular season game. The Buffalo Bills were middle of the pack in team sacks with 40 on the season. However, they did allow the 5th least rushing yards with only 104.6 per game. Considering this and the fact that the Bills are favored by 5.5 points, Burrow should be put into more passing situations, thus giving Buffalo more opportunities for sacks against an offensive line in shambles.
