We were waiting as long as possible to release Cincinnati because the line keeps climbing and +6's are now widely available. We don't agree with the move, and are happy to grab the increased price on the Bengals. Both of these teams have to count themselves at least a bit fortunate to have survived what was a very wild Wild Card Weekend. Buffalo blew an early 17-0 lead and was trailing 24-20 midway through the third quarter at home to a third-string quarterback. From our standpoint, the Bills have a few more questions to answer than the Bengals. Joe Burrow has led the Bengals to nine-straight wins, and the Bengals have last year's playoff experience to fall back on. The reason for the point spread increase over the last couple days is because of injuries on the Bengals' offensive line. Burrow arguably had a worse offensive line last season and made it to the Super Bowl. Weather in Buffalo could be an issue with wind and precipitation in the forecast. If that's the case, both teams will need to utilize a short passing game, and offensive line issues will be minimized because Burrow will not be doing seven-step drop-backs. Let's not forget, prior to Damar Hamlin's collapse a couple weeks ago, Cincinnati was leading Buffalo 7-3 and was driving again to go up by two scores. Who knows how that game would have played out, but the Bengals certainly looked comfortable in this matchup.
