Recent Play Details

I included these two plays in the same package because it's important they are played equally.

First, I'm coming back with a Lotte team that really should have won for us last night.  Lotte botched an inning ending double play and gave up a three run home run to the next batter to give up the lead.  All of the stats I rattled off yesterday about the home/road splits being in Lotte's favor still play and the Giants more of their high leverage relievers as Doosan burned all their top relief guys closing out yesterday's win.

I prefer Charlie Barnes to Robert Stock as far as the starters are concerned and Lotte's new import bat, former Texas Rangers OF Zack Reks, went 3 for 4 yesterday and I think it's possible he makes an impact in this Lotte lineup.

Lotte threw one away yesterday but I still have them as the better team with Barnes the better starting pitcher and I'll back the Giants to avoid the sweep at -120 here.

Next I have to back SSG based on my numbers here.  I've had SSG power rated #1 in this league since the beginning of the season, the Landers won the 1st half and got significantly better at the break adding Juan Lagares and Shawn Morimando who was excellent in his debut last night.  SSG's bullpen gets deeper based on the fact Won Seok Oh will likely return to the bullpen and Seung-Won Moon returned before the All-Star Break

Here, SSG goes up against a very good LG Twins team with a very good starter in Casey Kelly but on the hill for the Landers is Kwang-Hyun Kim who I believe is the best pitcher domestic or foreign in this league. Kwang enters play with a 1.52 ERA and 1.01 WHIP and the only reason he's not in the MLB this season is he made a move based on the uncertainty of an MLB season due to the offseason lockout.  Kwang will be back in MLB (where he belongs) next year so for now he will remain dominating hitters backed by KBO's best all around team. 

SSG is 33-11 at home this season and the Landers check too many boxes (even in a great matchup between two great teams and two great pitchers) where I simply have to take a stab with them at this cheap of price.
