*The correct selection on (24629) Rafael Fiziev at (24630) Marc Diakiese is Rafael Fiziev +135. Marc Diakiese -160 was loaded in error when choosing the fighter in the dropdown when loading the selection. Apologizes for any issues this may have caused my clients.

This is a great spot betting the aggressive prospect at plus money....

Marc Diakiese is on a 2 fight winning streak defeating Joe Duffy and the awkward style of Lando Vannata. In many of his past bouts Diakiese seeks space to work his striking, when walked down his offense is limited. At times he throws flashy spin kicks but in general has a basic offensive attack. In a fight against Nasrat Haqparast, most of the time Nasrat walked Marc down pushing out combinations. Through that fight Diakiese was uncomfortable and out of position searching for room to work. In that losing effort it showed certain styles work perfectly against him. When he beat Lando Vannata, most of that fight Lando stood relaxed at kickboxing range allowing Diakiese space to fire first or counter. Against a guy like Rafael Fiziev that wont be the case. Fiziev is a coach at the world class gym Tiger Muay Thai where he's fine tuned his high level striking. In his most recent fight against Alex White, Fiziev picks White apart for 3 rounds earning him the win. His crisp striking ability was on display and coming into this fight he should be even more comfortable.

Throughout the fight Saturday night Fiziev will push forward seeking to engage heavy combinations early. He's a fast starter whom mixes up level changing kicks with head strikes. The forward pressure is a spot I believe Diakiese can be exposed. The faster hand speed, overall technical skill set and confidence of Fiziev is impressive for a 26 year old. When standing toe to toe, Fiziev can smoothly transition from orthodox to south paw making it even harder on opponents eye up his attacks.

At the current market giving us a +135 line, meaning implied probability of 42%, I like the Fiziev here! The low volume and uncomfortbale with pressure of Diakiese mixes well with Fiziev's high level striking...
