We're taking Watford on the pick 'em line (+0) on Thursday to grab the win against Burnley.

    Play-by-Play

    - Watford have enjoyed a resurgance under experienced campaigner Niger Pearson and the Watford boss seen the highlight of all that work take place in The Hornets 3-0 win over league leaders Liverpool back in February. Watford were in severe trouble to start the season, going winless over their first eleven games of the season, but Pearson has since guided them out of the relegation zone (albeit slimly) and since his appointment, Watford have been the 8th best team overall in the league.

    - Sean Dyche continues to work miracles at Turf Moor as despite Monday's 5-0 battering to Manchester City, Burnley continue to impress, grinding out points and staying firmly in mid-table. However, The Clarets have major contract and injury concerns heading into this encounter with Watford, and Dyche will be without the services of Barnes, Gibson and Brady through injury. Wood and Gudmunsson are also doubtful and key player Jeff Hendrick is rumored to be off to AC Milan in the summer, so he's obviously opting not to re-sign. All in all, Sean Dyche may have no choice but to re-field the same starting eleven from Monday night's game that got toasted so thoroughly by Manchester City. That's a team relatively low on fitness, low on confidence and more importantly low on stamina after only three days rest.

    - Watford won the last visit here back in 2018 and with the extra two days rest factor, and the greater need here for a win (Watford sit just 1 point above relegation) we like them to do a repeat of that here on Thursday. Burnley always play tight, effective football, but this game means little to Dyche in the grand scheme of things and he may be forced to give key players a rest in this one in the face of a full on injury and contract crisis.

Take Watford on the +0 line to win, keeping the Draw as insurance, in a game we believe Nigel Pearson's men edge out in Thursday's EPL Spot Play.
