Dynamo Kyiv vs Sturm Graz Analysis<\/h3>\n

Dynamo Kyiv had to navigate a tricky two-leg tie last time out against Turkish giants Fenerbahce, finally netting a 114th-minute Oleksandr Karavaev tap-in to put the visitors through in that one.<\/p>\n

Last season\u2019s Austrian Bundesliga runners-up Sturm Graz had a much easier time of it, getting a bye through to the third round and with two games already under their belt in the Austrian Bundesliga, should feel match fit ahead of Wednesday\u2019s clash.<\/p>\n

The two teams have met once before in Europe, a 2-0 win for Sturm Graz back in 2018, but as a friendly, it provides little to no resemblance as to how both teams will set up ahead of this one.<\/p>\n

Sturm Graz Enter In Electric Form<\/h3>\n

While \u2018Die Schwoazn\u2019 had a competitive opening day draw against last season\u2019s third-place finishers Wolfsberger AC in game one, they certainly went up an extra gear with a 2-1 win against current nine-time Austrian Bundesliga winners RB Salzburg last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Sturm Graz were by far the better team early in that clash (RB Salzburg were going off at around -200 at most books) but two goals from 19-year-old Sturm Graz forward Rasmus Hojlund was enough to put the favorites tag to bed with Salzburg only getting a consolation goal late in that match with just three minutes of regular time remaining.<\/p>\n

No Home Advantage For Dynamo Kyiv<\/h3>\n

With the war still ongoing in Ukraine, Dynamo\u2019s \u2018home\u2019 games are being staged in Poland. However, \u2018Bilo-syni\u2019 showed against Fenerbahce that they don\u2019t need home advantage to raise their game and they’ll enjoy plenty of Ukrainian support regardless in neighboring Poland.<\/p>\n

Dynamo Kyiv have also enjoyed a 67% win rate against Austrian opposition in Europe over their history (W12, D2, L4) and will be eager to continue that solid run here on Wednesday also.<\/p>\n

Dynamo Kyiv vs Sturm Graz Prediction<\/h2>\n

I believe the safest play in this one is the under 2.25 goals at around even money. Dynamo Kyiv almost shut out Fenerbahce over two legs in the last round, with Fenerbahce being forced to grab a last-minute equalizer late in leg 2.<\/p>\n

That was an extremely impressive defensive performance from Dynamo Kyiv however against a team in Fenerbahce who were the Turkish Super Lig\u2019s top scorers last season netting 73 goals over the course of the year.<\/p>\n

Sturm Graz for their part haven\u2019t allowed any more than one goal in any competitive matchup this year, which also includes Austrian champions RB Salzburg who netted 77 goals last year and was again #1 in the league.<\/p>\n

We believe both teams know what\u2019s on the line here and we see a cagey, defensive brand of football playing out from both sides in this one as they look to take an edge into next week\u2019s pivotal leg 2.<\/p>\n

Take the Under 2.25 goals on Wednesday in the Champions League qualification matchup between Sturm Graz and Dynamo Kyiv in Lodz.<\/p>\n
