Molde vs Stroemsgodset Analysis<\/h3>\n

Top six clash over in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Sunday as sixth-place Stroemsgodset takes on league-leaders Molde over in Aker Stadion this weekend.<\/p>\n

Despite their fairly lofty league position, Stroemsgodset has really struggled away from home this season, banking just two wins all year, and has dropped each of their last two on the road as well.<\/p>\n

Molde, meanwhile, has been in some absolutely ruthless form at home this season, winning five of their last six outright and outscoring opponents 15-4 over that stretch also.<\/p>\n

Molde has won each of their last five head-to-heads at this venue against Stroemsgodset and have outscored them by a combined 14-1 scoreline over those five games as well.<\/p>\n

Stroemsgodset Defensively Proficient On The Road<\/h3>\n

While Stroemsgodset has enjoyed a less-than-ideal start to their road campaign this year, they\u2019ve nevertheless shown an ability to defend well in games, shutting out four of their last seven road opponents in all and owning the league\u2019s No. 2-rated defensive xGA ranking on the road this season as well.<\/p>\n

That defensive proficiency could well provide a test for Molde\u2019s high-flying offense on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Molde’s Strong Home Form<\/h3>\n

Unsurprisingly, Molde has by far the best home form in the league this season and have amassed a colossal 2.67 points per game over their last six home starts as well.<\/p>\n

With Molde scoring in every single one of those encounters also, their attack is in full flow right now with the league\u2019s second-highest goals per game ratio and the No. 1 offensive xG rating in the league as well.<\/p>\n

Molde vs Stroemsgodset\u00a0Prediction<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s difficult to look past anything other than a comprehensive Molde victory on Sunday and even at -1.5 on the goal line, that\u2019s the side of the ledger we\u2019re looking at this weekend.<\/p>\n

Stroemsgodset does have the advantage of a full week to prepare for this clash as Molde were playing in the Europa Conference League qualifications on Thursday night against Swedish side Elfsborg, but we\u2019re not sure that will be enough as Molde held a 4-1 advantage from that first leg against Elfsborg and played Thursday\u2019s second leg at a canter.<\/p>\n

With Lillestroem sitting just three points behind and having a game in hand over Molde, don\u2019t expect the hosts to slip up here and we’re taking Molde -1.5 at plus money<\/strong> on Sunday as our preferred wager in this game.
