Olympiacos vs Maccabi Haifa Analysis<\/h3>\n

Champions League qualification leg 2 kicks off on Wednesday night as Greek giants Olympiacos hosts Israeli champions Maccabi Haifa in Greece after both teams came out with a stalemate in the first leg.<\/p>\n

Olympiacos took the lead early last week over in Israel before a 92nd minute strike from Dolev Haziza gave Maccabi Haifa a lifeline heading into Wednesday’s second leg.<\/p>\n

Maccabi Haifa Looks To Rebound In Europe<\/h3>\n

After a dismal European campaign last season which saw the Israeli champions finish bottom of Europa Conference League Group E, Maccabi Haifa will be looking for much more success in Europe ahead of this year.<\/p>\n

However, they may not even get the chance as last season\u2019s Europa Conference League run represented Maccabi Haifa\u2019s only qualification to a European competition since the 2013-14 season.<\/p>\n

Olympiacos Needs To Be Tested In Europe<\/h3>\n

Olympiacos ran out easy 11-point winners last season over in the Greek Super League and has won the title in 18 of the past 22 years since the turn of the millenium, so a big game in Europe is always a good test for them in terms of gauging overall competitiveness.<\/p>\n

At home, Olympiacos has been sensational however, losing just one league game inside Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium all year, that when the title was all but sewn up in the second to last game of the season against Panathinaikos.<\/p>\n

Olympiacos vs Maccabi Haifa Prediction<\/h2>\n

We like the \u2018Both Teams to Score – Yes\u2019 prop on Wednesday at even money in the matchup between Maccabi Haifa and Olympiacos.<\/p>\n

While Maccabi Haifa left it incredibly late to grab an equalizer in that first leg, they were nevertheless pouring it on in attack against Olympiacos in that game and actually held a 14-6 attempts-on-goal advantage over the Greek side in that one.<\/p>\n

But if Maccabi Haifa can score, so can Olympiacos as they have been absolutely red-hot at home for quite some time, scoring in every single home game across every single competition bar one going all the way back to February.<\/p>\n
