Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For July 15<\/h2>\n

We hit another home run pick with Matt Carpenter hitting a home run last night, knocking one out of Yankee Stadium against Reds reliever Reiver Sanmartin. Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Adam Duvall (+280)<\/h2>\n

Adam Duvall got the night off last night against the Nationals so he\u2019ll be rested and ready for their rematch tonight with Washington sending Patrick Corbin to the mound.<\/p>\n

For what it\u2019s worth Corbin has improved his ERA from 6.71 to 5.70 over the last month or so. His last start was actually against the Braves going six innings and allowing four earned runs including one home run.<\/p>\n

Duvall didn\u2019t play in that game but is salivating at tonight\u2019s matchup as he\u2019s 11-32 against Corbin all time with two home runs. His splits favor left handed pitching too as he bats .232 and has six home runs in 69 at-bats against lefties compared to batting .195 with five home runs in 205 at-bats against righties.<\/p>\n

He has a better average on the road than at home and in night games than day games. All of which check out for tonight\u2019s game at Nationals Park. It also helps that Duvall already has a home run at Washington this season back on June 13.<\/p>\n

Duvall also posts career home runs against multiple Nationals relievers including Carl Edwards Jr., Erasmo Ramirez and Andres Machado. Duvall is listed at +280 to hit a home run but other Braves hitters to consider are Dansby Swanson (+300)<\/strong> and Austin Riley (+230)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Paul Goldschmidt (+350)<\/h2>\n

The Reds shockingly won two of three games at Yankee Stadium which leads me to believe they made have had that series circled on their calendar as they continue their road trip before the all-star to St. Louis.<\/p>\n

They may be burnt out especially with each game determined by one run. They send Hunter Greene to the mound tonight who leads the MLB in home runs allowed with 22. All-star Paul Goldschmidt has yet to hit a home run this month, but tonight presents a perfect opportunity to.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s hitting .366 with a home run every 11 at-bats at Busch Stadium this season. We\u2019ve detailed the Reds bullpen woes in previous articles, but an added incentive is that Goldschmidt has two home runs off Reds closer Hunter Strickland.<\/p>\n

Goldschmidt is listed at +350 to hit a home run but a couple other solid picks would be Nolan Arenado (+390)<\/strong> and Juan Yepez (+450)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
