Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Matt Carpenter (TBD)<\/h2>\n

For the third day in a row we\u2019re going with a Yankee to hit a home run and this time we\u2019re going with Matt Carpenter.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s not an everyday starter so be sure to track starting line ups before game time with this one but manager Aaron Boone would be foolish not to start him as he has two home runs off Reds starter Luis Castillo in his career going 6-26 in total.<\/p>\n

Ever since Carpenter has joined the Yankees back in late May he\u2019s been on fire when he gets the start. He\u2019s hit 10 home runs total in only 65 at-bats with five of them coming at home in 21 at-bats. That\u2019s one home run every four at-bats at home!<\/p>\n

The Yankees have surprisingly struggled against the Reds so far this series and adding Carpenter to the starting lineup would be a nice shake up of things as he\u2019s capable of playing all around the field on defense.<\/p>\n

Carpenter\u2019s odds haven\u2019t been listed as of yet but other Yankees to consider are DJ LeMahieu (+900)<\/strong> and Aaron Judge (+220)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Ian Happ (+650)<\/h2>\n

The Cubs have been dreadful as a team lately losing six straight games as left fielder Ian Happ was named to his first all-star game recently. He and the Cubs get the Mets with Carlos Carrasco taking the mound who hasn\u2019t been great as of late.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s failed to go six innings in four straight starts while giving up four home runs and 14 earned runs in total during those games. His road ERA stands at 6.11 while allowing seven home runs in 35.1 innings pitched away from Citi Field opposed to only four in 57.2 innings pitched at home.<\/p>\n

Happ is a much better hitter at home sporting a .338 average at Wrigley Field opposed to only a .222 average away from home. Get Happ at a valuable +650 but another Cubs player who could hit one is another all-star in Wilson Contreras at +450<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
