The Race to Stay Up<\/h3>\n
Championship promotion teams Bournemouth, Fulham and Nottingham Forest all make up the favorites for the drop ahead of this season, but there are some other teams who were perhaps a little fortunate to survive last season\u2019s relegation battle.<\/p>\n
Leeds is the obvious contender as they had one of the worst defenses in the league last season and have done little to improve it. Jesse Marsch is an offensive-minded coach and that has applied to all of the club\u2019s he\u2019s coached previously, including RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig, with the latter letting him go midway through the point of last season due to sitting 11th in the league with the Bundesliga\u2019s sixth-worst expected goals against record. At +200, Leeds present value for the drop ahead of this season.<\/p>\n
Another interesting candidate is Wolves to be relegated as well. We talked at length two seasons ago after Liverpool\u2019s winning title run the fact that the Reds won 14 games by exactly one goal over that campaign, and that\u2019s a huge red flag when looking to back a team in the following season.<\/p>\n
Wolves, despite finishing top half in the league last season, is on a very similar trajectory with 11 of their 15 wins last season coming by exactly one goal. Wolves also ranked fourth-from-the-bottom in terms of expected points last season, with all the three teams below them eventually getting relegated, so at +500, Wolves are another good value bet to go down this season.
