FK Jerv vs Haugesund Analysis<\/h2>\n

FK Jerv comes into Saturday\u2019s game off the back of five-straight defeats and will look to turn things around here at home against FK Haugesund this weekend over in the Norwegian Eliteserien.<\/p>\n

Haugesund, for their part, has won just one of their last five games themselves with just one win away from home all year.<\/p>\n

With both teams sitting in two of the bottom four spots in the league heading into Saturday\u2019s game, a win for either side here would be huge.<\/p>\n

The Alioune Ndour Show<\/h3>\n

Alioune Ndour, Haugesund\u2019s electric Senegalese midfielder, has been on fire to kick off the new Eliteserien season, bagging eight goals from 12 league appearances over this campaign so far.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s scored at least one goal in each of his last four starts as well (1.25 goals per game on average) and has the league\u2019s highest goal contribution percentage for his team this year at a massive 40%.<\/p>\n

With form like that another goal this weekend for Ndour could well be on the cards here against Jerv.<\/p>\n

Jerv Defying The Data<\/h3>\n

While Haugesund has a much worse goals against record this season than Jerv does, the data suggests otherwise.<\/p>\n

FK Haugesund ranks bottom of the league this year in both goals allowed this season and goals allowed at home while Jerv ranks four and six places above them respectively in each category.<\/p>\n

However in terms of actual chances given up this season, Jerv\u2019s numbers make for far worse reading with the \u2018Wolverines\u2019 ranking last in the league in both total xGA and xGA at home this year, far in excess of what Haugesund has given up this season.

FK Jerv\u2019s numbers have been smoke and mirrors for quite some time now and the data is starting to catch up with them as they enter Saturday\u2019s game in the worst form in the league right now, with 0.00 points per game generated over their last five starts and failing to score in three of those five games as well.<\/p>\n

Haugesund, meanwhile, has started to turn a corner of late generating 1.20 points per game over their last five starts and have scored at least once in every single one of those games as well, and we like them to continue that run of form here on Saturday as well.<\/p>\n
