Chinese Super League league leaders Wuhan Three Towns travels to 16th-place Guangzhou FC on Thursday morning looking to extend their lead at the top of the table.<\/p>\n

Wuhan is tied with Shanghai Shenhua on points this season but own a far superior goal difference to their rivals and will look to keep that advantage heading into Thursday\u2019s game against Guangzhou FC.<\/p>\n

Guangzhou FC, for their part, has struggled immensely this season, losing five of their opening six games, with that solitary win coming against bottom of the table Hebei FC also.<\/p>\n

While Guangzhou FC have allowed the third-most goals overall to opponents this year along with having the league\u2019s fifth-highest xGA rating this season as well, it\u2019s actually been Guangzhou FC\u2019s poor road form which has been the issue for them this year, where they rank bottom of the league in opponent goals and own the league\u2019s second-highest xGA rating this season on defense respectively.<\/p>\n

At home it\u2019s been a completely different story for the \u2018South China Tigers\u2019 as they rank top half in the league on overall goals allowed this year giving up just 0.67 goals per game on average to opponents, and they also own the league\u2019s sixth-lowest xGA ranking this year as well.<\/p>\n
