Guangzhou City vs Dalian Pro Analysis<\/h2>\n

Guangzhou City hosts Dalian Professional FC on Tuesday with hopes that their fortune changes after starting the new season in some horrendous form. Dalian Pro, meanwhile, has had issues of their own after starting the league on a four-game unbeaten run. Since then, they\u2019ve now lost each of their last two games and will look to turn that around here on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Dalian Pro and Guangzhou City have split each of their last six head-to-head meetings going back to 2019, with each side claiming three wins apiece. Guangzhou, however, has owned the advantage in this venue losing just one of their last six against Dalian in Yuexiushan Stadium.

Dalian Needs To Improve On The Road<\/h3>\n

Dalian has only amassed six points from six games this season, and that will need to change if they\u2019re going to climb the table from their precarious 14th spot heading into Match Day 7.<\/p>\n

A lot of those issues for Dalian have come on the road this season with the northeastern club registering zero wins away from home this year and giving up an average of 2.00 goals per game to opponents also.<\/p>\n

Guangzhou City\u2019s Defensive Issues<\/h3>\n

No team in the Chinese Super League this season has allowed more goals on defense than Guangzhou City has, allowing an average of 2.83 goals per game to opponents this season.<\/p>\n

The data backs this up also as Guangzhou rank last in the league on expected goals against this year, both overall and at home, and is one of only two teams in the league this season to have failed to keep even one clean sheet so far this year.<\/p>\n

Despite Dalian Professional\u2019s recent road issues this season failing to secure a single win, they did secure an excellent draw against third-place Henan Songshan Longmen back on Match Day 1, out-shooting the home side in that one overall and arguably getting extremely unlucky giving up a late 91st minute equalizer to Henan late on. So they definitely have the ability to cause a ton of problems for Guangzhou City in this one.<\/p>\n
