While this prop line is a little higher than what I look at, I think there is plenty of value at this price. I would have put this line closer to -165 or -170, for a couple reasons.<\/p>\n

Perez has struggled when it comes to strikeouts against the Royals. When you look at the 4 main batters he has faced, he has struck out Merrifield, Dozier, Santana, and Taylor just 11 times in 74 plate appearances.<\/p>\n

He has struck out just 6.4 batters per 9 innings on the road this season and the lefty is taking on a team that has been one of the best teams avoiding strikeouts against LHP.<\/p>\n

Kansas City is the 2nd best team in the league when it comes to K% against LHP, striking out at just 17.6% of the time. Plus, when Kansas City is playing at home they are the best team in the league when it comes to K% against LHP.<\/p>\n
