Home Run Prop Prediction 1: C.J. Cron (+270)<\/h2>\n

We could see a shootout in Minnesota tonight as the Rockies visit the Twins at Target Field. C.J. Cron posts solid numbers against Twins starter Dylan Bundy going 6-17 lifetime against him with three home runs.<\/p>\n

Cron is making a strong case for his first all-star appearance and he should add to that case tonight. He\u2019s 0-7 in his last two games but the four games before that was 10-18 with three home runs.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no reason why he shouldn\u2019t get back on that track tonight as Bundy is 4-3 with a 5.17 ERA on the season so far including a 6.28 ERA in June.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s allowed four home runs in his last three starts. If Bundy exits the game and Cron hasn\u2019t hit a home run, not to worry as he has home runs against Twins relievers Jharel Cotton and Joe Smith.<\/p>\n

Get Cron at +270 to hit a home run but if you want more value look at Charlie Blackmon (+600)<\/strong> and Brendan Rodgers (+350)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Nolan Arenado (+370)<\/h2>\n

Similar to Cron, Nolan Arenado also has three home runs against the scheduled starting pitcher he\u2019s set to go against. He\u2019s 10-36 against Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks as well and looks to hit his 15th home run on the season.<\/p>\n

Arenado has multiple hits in three straight games while Hendricks has a 6.28 ERA in June. In his last start against the Braves he pitched 4.1 innings and allowed six earned runs, including two home runs.<\/p>\n

He sports a 5.81 road ERA this season with five of the 13 home runs given up on the road as well in 26.1 innings pitched. Don\u2019t be alarmed if Hendricks gets past the Cardinals without an Arenado home run as the Cubs bullpen has allowed the most home runs of any in the MLB and have the 4th highest ERA.<\/p>\n

Arenado is listed at +370 to hit a home run but also consider Paul Goldschmidt (+350)<\/strong> and Brendan Donovan (+650)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
