Rosenborg BK vs Kristainsund Analysis<\/h2>\n

Bottom-of-the-table Kristiansund makes the trip over to Trondheim on Saturday looking to get a result against a Rosenborg team that is unbeaten at home this year in the Norwegian Eliteserien.<\/p>\n

Kristiansund, meanwhile, has struggled immensely this season, coming off four-straight defeats and ranking as the only team in the league without a win this year.<\/p>\n

Kristiansund has a decent record against Rosenborg, however, winning two of their last three in both league and friendly action.<\/p>\n

Kristiansund Misfiring On The Road<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been four road games this season for Kristiansund and unsuprisingly four straight defeats for them as the \u2018Owls\u2019 have continued to struggle to find the back of the net this year on their travels.<\/p>\n

Kristiansund has scored just one goal away from home all year in the league, that a 90th minute consolation goal against second-place Molde at the end of May and they\u2019ll need to hope that tally improves dramatically here on Saturday against a Rosenborg team allowing the second-fewest goals allowed at home in the league this year.<\/p>\n

Rosenborg Defensively Tight In Trondheim<\/h3>\n

After shutting out their opening three opponents of the season, Rosenborg allowed 14th-place FK Haugesund to score three goals against them in their previous home encounter in a pulsating 3-3 draw at the end of last month.<\/p>\n

That result was a surprise however, considering their only other draw this season at home came against an excellent Molde side in a shutout and the fact Rosenborg has the second-lowest xGA rating on defense out of any team at home this year behind only Bodoe\/Glimt.<\/p>\n

Rosenborg BK vs Kristainsund Prediction<\/h2>\n

Despite their obvious struggles this year, we\u2019re leaning toward taking Kristiansund here getting the +1.25 handicap start<\/strong> on Saturday against Rosenborg.<\/p>\n

While the Owls have failed to put up any meaningful numbers offensively this season, on defense it\u2019s been a different story, with Kristiansund allowing two goals or more just twice this season away from home – Once to an excellent Molde side and once in an unlucky effort against FK Haugesund which Kristainsund arguably should have won outright.<\/p>\n

Kristiansund also ranks top-ten in the league (9th) in terms of overall expected goals against this year, so we believe they can keep this one competitive on Saturday defensively at least and cover this line against Rosenborg.<\/p>\n
