The NBA will welcome its latest draft class on Thursday, June 23 at 8pm ET \/ 5pm PT in New York City. There has been plenty of speculation about who the No. 1 pick will be, with some wild fluctuations in the betting market leading up to the event.<\/p>\n

2022 NBA Draft Analysis<\/h2>\n

Tonight is the night for teams like the Magic, Rockets, Thunder, Pistons and others to rebuild from the ground up. Auburn power forward Jabari Smith Jrd. is the odds-on favorite to go No. 1 overall but it\u2019s not a guarantee as other players like Chet Holmgren and Paolo Banchero hope to be the first pick by the Magic.<\/p>\n

The Thunder will pick second followed by the Rockets, Kings and Pistons, who are all hoping to build on their young core. We could certainly be in store for some surprising trades made as well.<\/p>\n

The Thunder and Spurs each hold three first round picks while the Jazz, Suns, Lakers and Nets don\u2019t have any draft picks, but as mentioned before, they can trade their way into this draft.<\/p>\n

Dyson Daniels may be a name that most fans are unfamiliar with, as he\u2019s the top rated G-League player entering this year\u2019s draft.<\/p>\n
