Lillestrom vs Rosenborg Analysis<\/h2>\n

Lillestrom will look to extend their lead at the top of the Norwegian Eliteserien this Sunday when they host sixth-place Rosenborg at Arasen Stadion.<\/p>\n

Lillestrom has won both of their previous meetings against Rosenborg in league action, but prior to those two victories, hadn\u2019t managed to beat Rosenborg in any of their previous 25 competitive outings in either league or cup action before that.<\/p>\n

Rosenborg Hope To Have Turned A Corner<\/h3>\n

After an opening four game winless run on the road to open up the new season, Rosenborg will no doubt hope they\u2019ve turned a corner with a 4-0 demolition of Vaalerenga three weeks ago in what was their first road win of the season.<\/p>\n

While that result will no doubt be a morale booster for Rosenborg ahead of this game, that final scoreline nevertheless flattered Rosenborg in that one as Vaalerenga were much the better team through out but were simply unable to finish in the final third.<\/p>\n

Lilestrom\u2019s Stout Defense<\/h3>\n

Lillestrom remains the only team in the league to keep their opposition to single digit scoring over the season so far.<\/p>\n

At home it\u2019s been even more impressive for them with Lillestrom going a perfect 5-0 keeping five clean sheets and outscoring the opposition in Arasen Stadion to the tune of a 10-0 aggregate scoreline.<\/p>\n

The only slight negative on that defensive record for Lillestrom is that the data doesn\u2019t quite match up with the official figures, with Lillestrom ranking fifth in the league respectively on both total xGA and total home xGA this season.<\/p>\n

Lillestrom vs Rosenborg\u00a0Prediction<\/h2>\n

While Rosenborg has struggled on the road this season, they\u2019ve also shown a remarkable ability to grind out results as well and we expect that to be no different here on Sunday either against Lillestrom.<\/p>\n

Rosenborg ranks second in total fewest goals allowed this season, right behind Lillestrom, and they actually better Lillestrom in defensive xGA this season as well.<\/p>\n

Because of that we like Rosenborg +0.5 on the handicap this weekend along with the under 2.5 goals<\/strong> as well as we expect a low scoring draw in this one on Sunday between Rosenborg and Lillestrom over in the Norwegian Eliteserien.<\/p>\n
