England vs Hungary Analysis<\/h2>\n

The game that kicked off England’s winless games came against this same Hungary side in the league opener ten days ago, as the Magyars ran out-1-0 winners at home through a Dominik Szoboszlai penalty mid-way through the second half.<\/p>\n

England has a terrific head-to-head record against Hungary historically, winning seven of their last ten games outright, but are winless over their last two meetings.<\/p>\n

Hungary Employing Watertight Defense<\/h3>\n

Despite being huge outsiders prior to the start of this group, Hungary has easily exceeded expectations sitting in second position with four points from their opening three games.<\/p>\n

A lot of that success has come from their watertight defense which ranks second on total shots allowed, first in interception rate and one which has kept seven clean sheets over their last eleven Nations League games in all, including across three of their last four Nations League road games as well.<\/p>\n

England Looking Tepid In Attack<\/h3>\n

England has scored just one goal in this Nations League campaign so far, that a late Harry Kane penalty to rescue a draw against Germany last week, as the English remain the only side in the group currently without a goal from open play.<\/p>\n

That lackluster attack has been a problem for England for quite some time also with eight of England\u2019s last ten games in this competition finishing with under 2.5 goals and the English failing to score in almost half of all their Nations League contests going back to 2018 as well.<\/p>\n

England vs Hungary Prediction<\/h2>\n

Given how both teams have performed up to this point, we have to look towards taking the under 2.5 goals<\/strong> in this one on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

England\u2019s attack just hasn\u2019t been firing as of yet and we\u2019re expecting possibly yet another experimental lineup for them here as they look to rotate some tired legs after four games over the last 11 days.<\/p>\n

That means a lack of cohesion up front and this Hungary side has been difficult to break down at the best of times, so we\u2019re expecting an attritional type affair on Tuesday as Hungary look to keep their second spot position in the group intact.<\/p>\n
