Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For June 9<\/h2>\n

We struck out yesterday as the teams involving both home run picks only scored a combined one run. WagerTalk content contributor Kyle Kargel provides his daily home run prop picks and predictions for Thursday, June 9 with odds provided by FanDuel.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Aaron Judge (+210)<\/h2>\n

We have yet to make the league leader in home runs a selection for our daily home run prop pick, but that comes to an end today.<\/p>\n

Aaron Judge\u2019s numbers against Twins starter Dylan Bundy are hard to ignore as he\u2019s 5-19 with three home runs. The Yankees were surprisingly limited as a team last night on offense only scoring one run.<\/p>\n

So, they\u2019ll look to pick it back up tonight as Bundy sports a 5.57 ERA and has given up four home runs in his last three starts. The Twins haven\u2019t won in any of his starts since April 23.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also terrible at night with a 7.64 ERA in 17.2 innings pitched. The only thing that may make us pump the brakes with feasting on Bundy is his 0.57 ERA at home in three starts but two of those came in the first three weeks of the season.<\/p>\n

Judge is a safe pick with +210 odds, but if you\u2019re looking for some more value for this game, consider Giancarlo Stanton (+280)<\/strong> or Anthony Rizzo (+430)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Salvador Perez (+330)<\/h2>\n

Salvador Perez is far off from the numbers he put up last season including 48 home runs. This season he has eight and his average is significantly lower than last season.<\/p>\n

He has a .202 season average but has been slightly better in June hitting .269 so far this month. He hit home runs in consecutive days on June 4th and 5th showing signs of finding his groove. He\u2019s a much better hitter as a DH and five of his eight home runs have come when he\u2019s listed as such in the line up.<\/p>\n

In his career against Orioles starter Jordan Lyles he\u2019s 2-11 with both hits being home runs. Yes the Royals are the worst team in the league but they\u2019re going against a pitcher tonight who hasn\u2019t given up less than three runs in three straight starts.<\/p>\n

Lyles is terrible on the road as well with a ballooning 6.03 ERA and all seven home runs he\u2019s given up this season have been on the road. Get Perez at +330, but if you want to take advantage of this matchup with more value, consider rookie Bobby Witt Jr. (+610)<\/strong> or Hunter Dozier (+540)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
