Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For June 8<\/h2>\n

Let’s extend the streak of picking daily home run hitters to four tonight with a full slate of MLB action! WagerTalk content contributor Kyle Kargel provides his daily home run prop picks and predictions for Wednesday, June 8 with odds provided by FanDuel.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Josh Donaldson (+350)<\/h2>\n

Josh Donaldson may be past his prime but he still has the capability of hitting 20-25 home runs this year. Tonight presents a nice opportunity to hit a home run at Target Field, a field that\u2019s given up the 9th most home runs in the MLB.<\/p>\n

Donaldson\u2019s career splits against Archer are quite unique. He\u2019s only 5-30 but three of those five hits have been home runs!<\/p>\n

Donaldson has had almost equal amounts of home and away at bats and his road stats are significantly better hitting .294 compared to .167 at home. Four of his five home runs have come on the road as well.<\/p>\n

He just came back from injury on June 3 and hasn\u2019t been impressive in the three games since, but he probably just needed to get back in the swing of things.<\/p>\n

Get Donaldson at +350 but other Yankees hitters to consider are of course Aaron Judge (+270)<\/strong>, Giancarlo Stanton (+275)<\/strong>, and value with Anthony Rizzo (+385)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Jared Walsh (+440)<\/h2>\n

Something has to give for the Angels who have now lost a whopping 13 straight games. They get Nathan Eovaldi on the mound tonight for Boston who has allowed 16 home runs on the season which is second most in the MLB.<\/p>\n

Sure he had a great outing last time out against Oakland but the Angels should be a tougher task who just fired their manager Joe Maddon.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s game presents an opportunity for first baseman Jared Walsh to smack a home run who hits .262 and has nine home runs against righties and only one home run against left handed pitching. He already has two home runs in 15 at-bats against Boston this season.<\/p>\n

Walsh is 2-6 in his career against Eovaldi with both hits being doubles. You can get Walsh on FanDuel for +440 but considering Eovaldi\u2019s knack to allow home runs, other Angels hitters to consider are Shohei Ohtani (+315)<\/strong> and long shot Brandon Marsh (+750)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
