Genoa vs Juventus Analysis<\/h2>\n

Juventus takes on Genoa on Friday night safe in the knowledge they\u2019ve secured Champions League football for yet another season, their 11th-straight, with Roma\u2019s inability to win at home against Bologna last the weekend finally making it official.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a fantastic turnaround for Massimiliano Allegri\u2019s men in 2022 as the \u2018Bianconeri\u2019 rank as Serie A\u2019s No. 1 team over the calendar year so far and must surely be considered as one of the outright favorites for next season\u2019s Scudetto title as a result.<\/p>\n

Genoa meanwhile is in absolute must-win territory tonight as they threw away a much needed point against Sampdoria at the weekend with a late penalty miss in that game and now sit five points off Cagliari in 17th position and safety.<\/p>\n

Juventus won the reverse fixture 2-0 between these two back in December over in Turin with goals from Cuadrado and Dybala securing the win for the home side.<\/p>\n

Coppa Italia On The Horizon For Juve<\/h3>\n

While it hasn\u2019t been the greatest of seasons for the \u2018Old Lady\u2019, getting dumped out of the Champions League by Villarreal, being off the pace by a full eight points in the Serie A title race and the whole European Super League fiasco which Juventus has never officially pulled out of, it\u2019s been a 2021\/22 season to forget for the Turin faithful.<\/p>\n

However, there have been some positives for Juventus this season, especially with Allegri\u2019s return to the club, and Juventus have the chance of lifting some much needed silverware this season as they face Inter in next week\u2019s Coppa Italia final.<\/p>\n

Genoa\u2019s Offensive Woes<\/h3>\n

Genoa has also had a season to forget as they sit firmly rooted in the relegation zone this year and will need a huge effort if they\u2019re going to survive at this point.<\/p>\n

The writing\u2019s been on the wall for this Genoa team for a while however as they\u2019ve finished in 17th place (the spot immediately above the drop zone) four times over the last decade and will no doubt look to pull off the same trick again this season.<\/p>\n

However, the \u2018Rossoblu\u2019 will need to start scoring goals if they\u2019re going to achieve that as they\u2019ve averaged just 0.71 goals per game this season in Serie A, the league\u2019s lowest goals haul.<\/p>\n

Genoa vs Juventus Prediction<\/h2>\n

Despite all their recent issues, we\u2019re looking to take Genoa on the +0.5 handicap line at home on Friday, available at plus money at time of writing too, as Juventus continues to wind down its season.<\/p>\n

Allegri has marshaled on some youth players over the last few weeks with 18 year old Fabio Mirreti coming on at the weekend against Venezia and we expect more wholesale changes to this Juventus squad ahead of this game also.<\/p>\n

With Champions League officially confirmed for Juventus for next season, those changes are only going to grow as sole focus will now lie with winning next week\u2019s huge clash against Inter over in the Coppa Italia final.<\/p>\n
