Orioles vs Twins Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles play the 3rd game of a four game series at Camden Yards on Wednesday night. The Twins prevailed over the Orioles with a 7-2 victory on Tuesday night after winning the first game of the series 2-1.<\/p>\n

The Orioles are basically looking to salvage a game a play for a potential split on Thursday. Baltimore turns to rookie starter Kyle Bradish, while Dylan Bundy gets the nod for Minnesota.<\/p>\n

The money line is set at -135 for the Minnesota Twins and +115 for the Baltimore Orioles with a total of 7.5. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM EST.<\/p>\n

Orioles Turn to Top Prospect<\/h3>\n

The Baltimore Orioles have lost two straight to the Twins, giving them 7 losses in their last 9 games. Their record dropped to 8-16, good for the worst record in the American League.\u00a0 Southpaw starter Bruce Zimmerman gave the O’s a chance with two runs allowed in five innings of work.<\/p>\n

The bullpen ultimately coughed it up as Joey Krehbiel and Keegan Akin each gave up two runs with Krehbiel enduring the loss.\u00a0 There were not many bright spots offensively but Cedric Mullins did have an RBI double.<\/p>\n

The Orioles rank poorly across the board, including 26th in batting average, 28th in on base percentage and 23rd in ERA. Kyle Bradish is one of top young prospects in the Orioles pipeline and he be tasked with shutting down a red hot Twins team.<\/p>\n

Bradish made his the start and appearance of his career on Friday against the Boston Red Sox.\u00a0 The youngster was solid, throwing six innings while allowing three runs (2 earned) on five hits while striking out six and walking one.<\/p>\n

Twins Aim For Identical Outcome On Back End of Series<\/h3>\n

The Minnesota Twins are one of the leagues hottest teams, winning four straight games and 11 of their last 12 overall. Their 7-2 victory over Baltimore brought their record to 15-9, good for sole possession of 1st place in the American League Central.<\/p>\n

Starter Joe Ryan threw 4.2 innings allowing two earned runs on six hits. Caleb Thielbar was the pitcher of record, picking up his first win of the season.<\/p>\n

Byron Buxton went 2 for 5 with an RBI double and Carlos Correa hit two doubles. The Minnesota offense ranks middle of the pack in most categories while scoring 4.17 runs per game.<\/p>\n

Their pitching has been outstanding as they rank 5th with a 3.06 team ERA. Its Dylan Bundys turn in the rotation, he was roughed up for six runs on seven hits in six innings in his last start.<\/p>\n

The result was his 1st loss of the season after picking up wins in his first three games. Bundy enters the game with a 3-1 record and 2.95 ERA.<\/p>\n

Orioles vs Twins Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Twins enter this game winning 12 of their last 13 games, while the Orioles have lost 6 of their last 8. This one is tough because I would normally look to fade Dylan Bundy.<\/p>\n

However, Bundy has been solid in 3 of 4 starts and should be able to limit the Orioles bats as they continue to struggle with right-handed pitching.<\/p>\n

The Twins haven’t seen Bradish yet, but they crush right-handed pitching and he gave up three runs to Boston in his 1st start. There are better plays on the board but I will ride with the hotter and more talented team for a small play.<\/p>\n
