Barcelona vs Rayo Vallecano Analysis<\/h2>\n

Barcelona bounced back with a victory on Thursday night against Real Sociedad after dropping back-to-back games to opponents they were expected to beat quite convincingly. It\u2019s been a rocky April for Xavi\u2019s side so far after the highs of the previous few months.<\/p>\n

Rayo Vallecano, meanwhile, halted a 12-game winless run that had stretched all the way back to the start of February with a much needed 1-0 victory over Espanyol on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

From the highs of a Champions League spot on December 31st, the wheels have well and truly came off Rayo Vallecano\u2019s season in 2022 as \u2018Los Franjirrojos\u2019 have just one win to their name in league action over the entire calendar year, that coming on Thursday night against Espanyol.<\/p>\n

With just seven points separating themselves and the drop zone right now they\u2019re not completely out of the woods yet and a positive result here on Sunday would no doubt settle Andoni Iraola\u2019s nerves for another while.<\/p>\n
