Red Sox vs Blue Jays Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Blue Jays welcome the Boston Red Sox to Rogers Centre in Toronto for the first game of a three game set on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox are .500 with a 5-5 record after losing 8-3 against the Minnesota Twins on Marathon Monday morning. The Jays record improved to 6-4 after beating the Oakland Athletics 4-3 on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Nathan Eovaldi gets the nod for the Boston, while Yusei Kikuchi takes the mound for Toronto. These division rivals have split their last ten head-to-head meetings.<\/p>\n

Red Sox Remain Inconsistent<\/h3>\n

The Boston Red Sox have been traditionally tough to beat on their Patriots Day morning games but couldn’t keep up with the Twins on Monday and lost 8-3. The Red Sox just can’t seem to get past. 500.<\/p>\n

Rich Hill was underwhelming in the loss, pitching only 4.2 innings while allowing four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out only two.<\/p>\n

Christian Vazquez hit a solo home run and had a sacrifice ground out RBI as well. Xander Bogaerts went three for five with a double an RBI. Rafael Devers has been a menace at the plate, he on a 14 game hit streak dating back to last season and is batting .349 with 2 home runs and 8 RBI.<\/p>\n

Ace Nathan Eovaldi gets the nod for Boston tonight in his third start of the season. He held the Detroit Tigers to two earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six. He will be hoping to follow up on an incredible 2021 campaign with another big season this year.<\/p>\n

Jays On Top of Stacked Division<\/h3>\n

The Toronto Blue Jays are off to a great start this season, winning six of their first 10 games, which has given them the lead in the A.L. East.<\/p>\n

In their latest victory Alex Manoah turned in a stellar performance, pitching six innings while allowing only two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six. The Blue Jays have now won the last 10 games Manoah has started.<\/p>\n

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. led Jays hitters, going 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored. It looks like Vladimir Guerrero Jr is set for a huge season, currently he has a 1.036 OPS with 5 home runs and 10 RBI. Yusei Kikuchi will be making his second start as a Blue Jay, after only pitching 3.1 in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

He allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out two. The Blue Jays are without one of their biggest bats in Teoscar Hernandez who is has been out about a week with a strained oblique.<\/p>\n

Red Sox vs Blue Jays Prediction<\/h2>\n

We have a virtual pick’em with the money line at -130 for the Boston Red Sox and +110 for the Toronto Blue Jays with a total of 9.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox are playing well offensively, scoring at least four runs in five of their last six games and winning four of those six games. They have hit lefties well and have had a ton of success against Kikuchi.<\/p>\n

Eovaldi has been a bit shaky against Toronto but has been sharp enough to back at this price. The Sox bullpen has been sharp and should be able close out the game if Eovaldi struggles.<\/p>\n
