Vancouver Canucks vs Arizona Coyotes Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Canucks will face an Arizona team on Thursday night who owns the worst record in the league, but who have actually played marginally better away from home this season than in Glendale.<\/p>\n

The two teams have played twice already this season with the Canucks coming out exact 5-1 winners in both matchups.<\/p>\n

Arizona Looking To See Out The Season<\/h3>\n

While it\u2019s been a disappointing season for Arizona overall this year, the Coyotes are going through a really rough stretch to finish out the season.<\/p>\n

Arizona is just 2-10-1 over their last 13 games in all and have given up a colossal 5.5 goals per game over their last four starts to opponents as well.<\/p>\n

With an average of just 1.25 goals per game scored on the other side, Arizona will need a huge turnaround offensively in this one if they\u2019re going to get the win.<\/p>\n

Canucks’ Postseason Push Continues<\/h3>\n

The Canucks are in red-hot form right now but will need to maintain that intensity if they\u2019re to have a chance of making the post-season.<\/p>\n

With LA, Dallas and Vegas all ahead of them in the rankings, the Canucks will need a massive push to see out the regular season if they\u2019re going to bridge that gap.<\/p>\n

However, Vancouver has two of those teams on deck to close out the year so control a lot of their own destiny and will no doubt be in high spirits after beating another rival in Vegas in OT on Tuesday. Vancouver definitely shouldn\u2019t be counted out just yet.<\/p>\n

Vancouver Canucks vs Arizona Coyotes Prediction<\/h2>\n

We expect the Vancouver Canucks to get the victory tonight at home but with the line at time of writing north of -275 at most sports books, we\u2019re instead going to focus on the total in this one and we expect goals tonight in Vancouver.<\/p>\n

The Canucks have averaged 4.75 goals per game over their four most recent starts and rank seventh in the league in total number of power play goals this season as well.<\/p>\n

With Karel Vejmelka slated in nets tonight for the Coyotes, a goalie ranking 59th in the league this year posting a -9.04 GSAA average along with the league\u2019s second-highest really bad starts percentage also (those starts below an .850), Vancouver should find a ton of success in front of goals tonight.<\/p>\n

While the Coyotes rank almost bottom of the league in pretty much every offensive metric themselves this season, they\u2019re actually top half in one main stat and that\u2019s high-danger conversion rate this year with Arizona actually owning a 0.7% boost over the high-flying Florida Panthers in terms of finishing off chances inside the slot area.<\/p>\n

We expect both teams to find success tonight going forward and recommend a play on the over 6 goals<\/strong> between the Arizona Coyotes and the Vancouver Canucks for Thursday.<\/p>\n
