Nuggets vs Spurs Analysis<\/h2>\n

The San Antonio Spurs travel to Ball Arena in Denver for a Western Conference showdown with the Nuggets. The Nuggets moved into the fifth seed with a 129-118 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n

The Spurs sit at 33-45 after smoking the Portland Trailblazers 113-92 on Sunday. San Antonio is close to clinching a spot in the play-in tournament with a two game lead on the Lakers and only four games left to play.<\/p>\n

This is an amazing game to analyze from a props perspective as it will feature a player that prop bettors love to utilize in Nikola Jokic.<\/p>\n

Nuggets vs Spurs Team Total Props<\/h3>\n

The Denver Nuggets enter this game as 9 point favorites with a total of 234, setting their team total at 121.5 and the Spurs at 112.5.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets will be looking to improve to 3-1 in the regular season series, while the Spurs look for a split. Denver won their only home game 102-96 way back in October.<\/p>\n

The Spurs split two consecutive in December, losing 123-111 and winning 127-112. So the games have been high scoring in San Antonio and low scoring in Denver in a limited sample size.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets have been on an amazing scoring run with 113 points or more in seven straight games and 125 points or more in five of those seven games. The Spurs haven’t been too shabby either with 110 points or more in six of their last seven games.<\/p>\n

The Spurs rank 4th in pace of play and it would serve them well to keep up a fast pace against Jokic. However the Nuggets rank 2nd in field goal percentage so they can keep up with the scoring.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Jokic, the Spurs don’t have an answer for him. Denver has been scoring at will an i expect them to keep that up in an important home game.<\/p>\n

Both teams have unique superstars that literally lead their team in all three categories of points, rebounds and assists on an almost nightly basis.<\/p>\n

You have to immediately look towards their points + rebounds + assists totals. Unfortunately Dejounte Murray has been ruled out of this game with an illness, which will cloudy the waters for Spurs player props.<\/p>\n

Thats alright because Jokic is who we need to focus on tonight. His PRA total is set high even by his standards at 50.5. Rightfully so as he has now cleared that total in five straight and 6 of his last 7 games. I’m not going to over analyze this one and roll with Jokic on the MVP push.<\/p>\n

For our same game parlay we will stick with Jokic and the Nuggets. We could call it the “MVP SGP”. We will break up that PRA total into separate categories for a better payout and add the Nuggets money line to sweeten the pot.<\/p>\n

Jokic 25+ points, 12+ rebounds and 7+ assists comes up to +110. Add the Denver money line and it increases to +150 on what should be a no brainer without Dejounte Murray. Amazing value for this play that has been cashing consistently.<\/p>\n
