Utah has lost five in a row, and the Lakers have lost seven out of nine and now they have big time injury issues. The Jazz have slipped to the No. 6 seed while the Lakers are only in the play-in tournament by a half-game.<\/p>\n LeBron\u2019s ankle is hurt. Anthony Davis’ ankle is hurt. If Keldon Johnson\u2019s last second layup falls in for San Antonio last night, the Lakers would be out of a playoff spot this morning.<\/p>\n The Lakers have not covered the point spread in their last two games without LeBron, despite putting up 110 and 108 points. The Lakers’ bad defense has helped this team go 4-1 to the over their last five games and with Utah\u2019s recent defensive decline, we might be looking at a lot of points tonight.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re a prop player, Russell Westbrook has been packing the stat sheet the last two games, and his points + rebounds + assists number is set at 34.5. The over might be a good play.<\/p>\n The Utah Jazz are tumbling down the standings as they are down to the No. 6 seed now after losing five-straight games to teams in the playoffs or play-in tourney. They are 0-5 against the spread in that five-game stretch, so they\u2019re a big fade team right now. They are also 4-1 to the under on their team total, which is set at 119.5 tonight.<\/p>\n The Bogdanovic injury has really been a big deal for them as they have gone 3-6 without him, and he is questionable tonight. Whether he plays or not, I know what play I want tonight.<\/p>\n When LeBron isn\u2019t in the game, the Lakers have no defense and the games become shootouts. The Lakers’ last three game totals have been 238, 224, and 247. The Jazz with Mitchell and Gobert should be able to score at will and LA will have to answer.
