The Spurs are riding a four-game winning streak after beating the Houston Rockets 123-120 on Monday. The Grizz sit in second place in the Western Conference after beating the Golden State Warriors 123-95 at home on Monday night.<\/p>\n Memphis is looking for a four-game regular season series sweep over San Antonio with three eerily similar scores. They won exactly 118-105 in both home games and 118-110 in San Antonio…simply amazing to score 118 in all three games with two identical scores. Both teams have some interesting looks from a team total and player prop perspective.<\/p>\n Spurs vs Grizzlies Team Totals<\/h3>\nThe Memphis Grizzlies are favored by 5.5 with a total of 234, setting the Spurs team total at 114.5 and the Grizz at 119.5 points. I wonder what the plus-money price is on Memphis scoring exactly 118 points? All jokes aside this figures to be a high scoring game with these teams ranking third and sixth in pace over the course of the season. Over their last ten games they have played at an even quicker pace, as the Grizz rank first and the Spurs fourth.<\/p>\n Nobody has been able to stop Memphis, and while the Spurs held them to exactly 118 three times, I see 120 or more out of the Grizzlies tonight.<\/p>\n Recommendation: Memphis Grizzlies’ Team Total Over 119.5 Points<\/strong><\/p>\n Ja Morant is out for the Memphis Grizzlies, but that hasn’t been a problem as they are 18-2 on the season without him on the court. Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks have picked up their scoring with 19 points or more in each of their last four games.<\/p>\n Dejounte Murray is always worth a look based on his outstanding season. But his points + rebounds + assists number is 40.5, he probably gets up and over but if one thing goes wrong it’s a loss. Murray also fell short in both head-to-head matchups with Memphis.<\/p>\n The Spurs allow the fourth-most points per game to opposing shooting guards. Desmond Bane scored 8, 17 and 20 points against the Spurs in games where Ja Morant put up monstrous efforts of 52, 41 and 30 points. That leaves a ton of points on the table for players like Bane, Brooks and Jones. Bane’s total is set at 21.5 and I’m thinking there will be enough opportunities for him to sail over.<\/p>\n Recommendation: Desmond Bane Over 21.5 Points<\/strong><\/p>\n Again the player props aren’t available for same game parlay here. If it becomes available take Bane’s lowest point total over and the Grizz lowest team total over. I would look towards De’Anthony Melton three-pointers in some capacity to get to plus money. It’s a shame these aren’t available today after hitting our last two same game parlays at +105 and +210 odds.<\/p>\n \n \n |
