Kyrie Irving can play in three games between now and the playoffs, and this is one of them.<\/p>\n These two teams met earlier this year with Memphis winning by 14, but no Kyrie. The books expect this to be close and high scoring as the total is 234.5, with Brooklyn being a slight -3 favorite. It\u2019s a great game, let\u2019s find a great bet for this one.<\/p>\n Grizzlies Protecting The #2 Seed<\/h3>\nThe Grizzlies have passed the Warriors for the two seed, but won\u2019t catch the Suns, and they\u2019ve done that by winning five out of six, but they haven\u2019t been a great covering team going 5-5 ATS their last 10, but they have gone 7-3 ATS at home their last 10.<\/p>\n When they win, they score a lot of points as they\u2019ve put up 115 or more in all 24 of their last wins, so if Memphis wins expect a high scoring game.<\/p>\n Memphis has an odd schedule situation as they have Brooklyn tonight, but a back to back against a bad Indiana Pacers on Thursday followed by Milwaukee and Golden State after that.<\/p>\n Ja Morant has already been ruled out, so I have a suspicion they play it easy against Brooklyn to get ready for an easy Pacers win and then cement the #2 seed by going all in to beat Golden State.<\/p>\n Nets Need Wins<\/h3>\nIt\u2019s the home stretch, and the Nets are stuck in the #8 seed, with an outside chance to catch Toronto and Cleveland above them as both teams aren\u2019t playing great to close out the season.<\/p>\n Durant went nuclear against Utah in the second half to get a big win and they have now won six out of seven, and they are now 8-2 ATS on the road their last 10 (The Kyrie Effect).<\/p>\n An interesting factor for this game is that Memphis is a top 6 team defending power forwards (Durant), and a top 12 team defending point guards (Kyrie).<\/p>\n That being said, is any team capable of stopping these guys? Probably not, and with the Seth Curry injury there is even more pressure on these two for Brooklyn in this one.<\/p>\n Memphis Grizzlies vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction<\/h2>\nI\u2019ll take the under in this one, as it\u2019s two flashy teams with super stars, but Morant is out, and the books have inflated this total. Wait until lineups get solidified, and it\u2019s closer to game time as the line should move before taking the under though.<\/p>\n Brooklyn has gone under this total in six out of the last seven games they\u2019ve played against playoff teams, and with Curry banged up that\u2019s a big scoring option they won\u2019t have.<\/p>\n We have to go back to Jan. 21 to find a game that Memphis went over against a playoff team minus the OT game against Philly on the 31st.
