Carolina Hurricanes vs Tampa Bay Lightning Analysis<\/h2>\n

Two of the most successful teams in the Eastern Conference clash over in Raleigh, NC on Tuesday as the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Metropolitan leading Carolina Hurricanes later tonight in a huge matchup.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s been far from plain sailing for either team of late as the Lightning enter Tuesday\u2019s game winning just two of their last six games overall, while the Hurricanes are currently on their longest losing run of the season so far, dropping four straight games.<\/p>\n

The Lightning and Hurricanes have faced off against one another once already this season with Carolina edging out Tampa Bay 2-1 in OT down in Florida back in November.<\/p>\n

We like Carolina on Tuesday to snap their losing streak with an outright win at home against Tampa Bay tonight.<\/p>\n

While Carolina haven\u2019t seen results go their way of late, their overall passage of play in games has continued to impress.<\/p>\n

The Hurricanes outshot the New York Rangers 44 to 18 in Sunday\u2019s 2-0 loss at home and they achieved similar against Toronto last Thursday night as well, outshooting the Leafs by 15 in that one.<\/p>\n

Carolina are averaging the third most high danger scoring opportunities in the league this season while Tampa Bay rank bottom half in opponent high danger conversion rate this year.<\/p>\n
