Defense is another story, especially for the Pacers, but the books clearly expect a lot of points in this game, and for good reason. Let\u2019s find our favorite bet in this game.<\/p>\n Stick to the Gameplan<\/h3>\nLosing 26 out of your last 34 isn\u2019t great on paper, but I like what this Indiana Pacers team is doing. They are finding out what they have in Haliburton, Heild and Brogdon and they\u2019re getting a great look at guys like Washington Jr. and Jalen Smith.<\/p>\n The Pacers have been putting up a lot of points, scoring 111 or more in four out of five games. They aren\u2019t winning, which is great for their draft position but for a team rebuilding, this stretch is promising.<\/p>\n From a wagering standpoint they\u2019re a bit tough to figure out as they are 5-5 against the spread in their last ten games, and 6-4 to the over in those ten games.<\/p>\n Brogdon is questionable tonight, so from a player prop perspective wait on his status, and if he\u2019s out go ahead and take Haliburton over his points + rebounds + assists.<\/p>\n Erase the Embarrassing Loss<\/h3>\nThe Grizzlies somehow lost to Houston by nine points last Sunday, but have won three-straight against lesser opponents. Memphis is only 1-2 against the spread in those three so they\u2019ve been winning, just not comfortably. It makes sense as they don\u2019t need maximum effort to beat New Orleans, New York, and Oklahoma City, but it\u2019ll be tough to lay points on this team if they\u2019re going to take it easy on bad teams.<\/p>\n Memphis is 3-0 to the over in those three so they are scoring a lot, but allowing a lot as well, and that\u2019s the angle I\u2019m going to take.<\/p>\n Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction<\/h2>\nI\u2019ll play the first half over 114.5 points<\/strong> in this game. The Grizzlies are 3-1-1 their last five to the over in the first half where the Pacers are 5-0 to the over in their last first halves.<\/p>\n The last week, the Pacers are 26th in defensive efficiency, and Memphis has dropped to 13th, so both teams are struggling to stop opponents, however in that same time span the Pacers are third-best in offensive efficiency and the Grizzlies are fifth.
