Kings vs Nuggets Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Denver Nuggets have won four of their last five games including three in a row. They will travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings who have lost two straight.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth and final matchup between these teams this season and the Nuggets are looking to sweep the season series. While the Nuggets are 3-0 in games vs the Kings, they are only 2-1 against the spread vs them this season.<\/p>\n

Trade Regrets?<\/h3>\n

Over their last ten games, the Sacramento Kings are 3-7. At the moment, it is hard to justify the trades they made during the deadline. The Kings have played significantly worse since trading away Haliburton and Hield and there is no sign that they will be improving.<\/p>\n

The Kings are 10-11 against the spread as a home underdog this season and they need to take this matchup to avoid being swept by the Nuggets this season.<\/p>\n

Nuggets on a Roll<\/h3>\n

The Denver Nuggets have been one of the hottest teams in basketball over the past few weeks. Over their last ten games, the Nuggets are 9-1 and are averaging 120.7 points per game. Nikola Jokic continues to make a stronger and stronger case for another MVP award every night on the court.<\/p>\n

One issue the Nuggets do have is that they tend to play down to their opponents’ skill level. Not to say they don\u2019t try against lesser teams, but they have closer games than they should. The Nuggets one loss of their last ten games was at home against the Thunder.<\/p>\n

Kings vs Nuggets Prediction<\/h2>\n

While I am skeptical of how the Nuggets play inferior opponents, I think the Nuggets are seriously rolling right now. They only beat the Kings by five points last time they played in Denver in February, but I think the line of Nuggets -4.5 is a bit too low.<\/p>\n

I recommend taking the Nuggets -4.5<\/strong> and laying the points in this matchup. The Kings have played the Nuggets close recently, but the Kings are on a downward spiral while the Nuggets are looking to improve their seeding in the Western Conference playoff race.<\/p>\n
