| TV:<\/td>\n | TNT<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\nMemphis Grizzlies vs New Orleans Pelicans Analysis<\/h2>\nA really good game tonight between a team who\u2019s playing top five basketball right now\u2026and the Memphis Grizzlies!<\/p>\n That\u2019s right, the Pelicans are 4-1 since the break with their only loss being an overtime loss while the Grizzlies are 3-3 since the break and looking to get back to elite form.<\/p>\n The books still like Memphis as the Grizz are -5.5 favorites with a total of 231.5, so let\u2019s pick a winning bet from this game.<\/p>\n Pelicans Soaring<\/h3>\nThe Pelicans are top 5 in offensive and defensive efficiency since Feb. 1, and they are 4-1 ATS their last five games with the loss being in OT against Denver, a game they were leading late in the 4th quarter.<\/p>\n McCollum and Ingram have been fantastic recently as they have led the team in scoring in nine straight games, and they are catching Memphis at a great time as Memphis is on a downturn.<\/p>\n Grizzlies Overrated?<\/h3>\nJa Morant has all the attention for his highlights and high level play, but the Grizzlies are 3-4 their last 7 and they\u2019re just coming off a loss to putrid Houston.<\/p>\n Their recent wins aren\u2019t looking great as they are against Orlando, San Antonio, and the crumbling Bulls.<\/p>\n The Grizzlies recently beat New Orleans by 12 on Feb 15 when the Pelicans shot 15% from three pointers, and I don\u2019t expect that to happen again which leads into my play for this game.<\/p>\n Memphis Grizzlies vs New Orleans Pelicans Prediction<\/h2>\nI think the Pelicans cover and possibly win, but I absolutely love their team total over 113.5. They have scored 117 or more in six straight games, and they scored 109 against Memphis on a horrible shooting night in mid November.<\/p>\n Memphis has allowed Houston to score 123 and Boston to score 120 on them in two of their last three, and in their last five losses they\u2019ve allowed 119 or more to opponents.<\/p>\n I think this game is close, it wouldn\u2019t surprise me to see New Orleans win straight up, but I do expect them to get over this total.<\/p>\n Prediction: Pelicans OVER 113.5 Team Total<\/strong><\/p>\n \n \n |
