Stay on top of the latest NBA<\/a> updates direct from Las Vegas!<\/em><\/p>\n The Warriors will be in Denver to take on the Nuggets after losing four-straight games, and this won\u2019t be an easy game for them to break their streak as the Nuggets have won eight out of nine games and will be 8-point home favorites over the Warriors on Monday night. Let\u2019s find a best bet for this game.<\/p>\n The Warriors are sitting their main guys tonight which leaves a starting lineup of Poole, Lee, Moody, Porter and Looney. That team would struggle to win 30-percent of their games in the NBA over the season. The last time they did this they stunned the Spurs in the fourth quarter coming back from 20 down to win by four.<\/p>\n This Denver team isn\u2019t the Spurs though, they have playoff seeding to work about so they won\u2019t be squandering any leads to backup lineups. The Warriors have lost eight out of ten, and are 1-4 against the spread in their last five road games and are 1-9 against the spread overall their last ten.<\/p>\n The Nuggets have won ten out of 12 games, but it\u2019s been a nice stretch of opponents to have a winning streak against. They only have two wins against playoff teams in that stretch, one against Toronto who is struggling and the other is a one point win over this Warriors team who have been in a massive slump. The other playoff team they played was Boston where they lost 108-102.<\/p>\n Denver is 7-3 against the spread over their last ten games, but they are coming off an overtime game last night where they clipped the Pelicans in OT, so will rest be an issue? I don\u2019t think so. They are 3-1 their last four in the second games of back-to-backs. The last one ended up a 32-point win against a bad Portland team.<\/p>\n I go back to that Warriors’ game where the backups made that crazy comeback, and I want to avoid that so I\u2019ll take the Nuggets first half -4. With everyone sitting for Golden State, the matchups are mismatches across the board in favor of Denver.
