The Timberwolves have won two straight over good opponents, which has inched them closer to a spot in the actual playoffs and not the play-in tournament.<\/p>\n This is the third matchup this season for these teams with the Timberwolves winning the first two games.<\/p>\n Feisty Dogs<\/h3>\nThe Thunder shocked everyone by beating the Nuggets Tuesday night as 14.5-point underdogs. The Thunder are one of the best against the spread teams in the NBA this season. Whether it be as road or home dogs, the Thunder find a way to cover. They are 15-10 against the spread as home dogs and 3-2 against the spread as a home dog of 6-9.5 points.<\/p>\n Late-Season Upswing<\/h3>\nThe Timberwolves have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games and are on an upward swing late in the season. They are only 2.5 games behind the Nuggets for the last spot in the Western Conference playoffs and need to win games like this down the stretch. It is unclear if young budding star Anthony Edwards will play tonight due to a knee injury.<\/p>\n Thunder vs Timberwolves Predicion<\/h2>\nI do not love any bets in this game. This is a classic case of one actually good team vs one team that is devoid of talent, but great against the spread.<\/p>\n I lean toward the over<\/strong> in this contest, but I do not think it is a bet worth laying a lot of coin on.
