Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars Analysis<\/h2>\n

Dallas has registered back-to-back wins at home over the last week, but travel on the road here on Friday after dropping both of their most recent road trips to Nashville and Arizona respectively.<\/p>\n

The Winnipeg Jets, meanwhile, are coming off back-to-back wins themselves after snapping a four game losing streak with Sunday\u2019s win over the Arizona Coyotes.<\/p>\n

All three games have been incredibly tight so far with the home team winning each game and every one getting pushed into overtime.<\/p>\n

Dallas\u2019 Recent Hot Streak<\/h3>\n

Despite back-to-back recent road losses for the Stars, Dallas has been one of the hottest teams in the NHL over the new year, going 12-4-1 since January 20th. A lot of that success has been generated on the offensive end for Dallas as they\u2019ve averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game at home over their most recent eight-game stretch inside the American Airlines Center.<\/p>\n

The road has been a much different story for the Stars, with Dallas averaging just 1.75 goals per game in away games since February 15th.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg\u2019s Strong H2H Record<\/h3>\n

While the Jets have won just one of their last five contests against Western Conference opposition in all, they\u2019ve been much better in this spot against the Dallas Stars specifically, going 9-1 against them inside the Canada Life Centre.<\/p>\n

If they\u2019re to continue that solid run of form here however, they\u2019ll need their main man Connor Hellebuyck to bounce back from a disappointing performance against the Canadiens last time out in which he gave up four goals with a .886 SV%.<\/p>\n

We\u2019d be foolish to overlook the prospect of this game going to overtime once again after all three of their previous H2H\u2019s this season went that way, and with both teams being priced at a split \u2018em -110 line at time of writing for this game, it looks a distinct possibility to get pushed late once again.<\/p>\n

Both Connor Hellebuyck, despite his performance against Montreal last time out, and Jake Oettinger are world-class goalies and both rank top-20 in the league this season in terms of overall GSAA data and quality start percentage.<\/p>\n

With both teams ranking in the bottom-half of the league on shots to goal ratio this season, this game could well come down to the wire once again and we\u2019re taking the tie after regulation prop at +300<\/strong> in this one as our main play for Friday.<\/p>\n
